Town Meeting Parking Information-
There will be no parking along route 8.  Parking will be at the school and at the Otis highway garage.  There will be a shuttle service from the highway garage to the school starting at 6:15pm and ending promptly at 7 pm. Please carpool with a friend or neighbor if you can.  Those carpooling can drop off your car load of voters at the front entrance to the school and then park at the highway garage. Those carpooling can leave cars at the town hall too, but keep in mind the shuttle service is only from the highway department to the school. Please plan to come early so we can start on time. Voters can start checking in at 6pm.

The Annual Town Meeting: Tuesday, May 19 at 7:00 pm at the FARMINGTON RIVER SCHOOL

Annual Town Election, Tuesday, May 26 from 10:00 am- 7:00 pm at Otis Town Hall in the gym.

Town Meeting info: The official warrant articles that will be voted on at the town meeting will be available for pick up by May 13 at the Town Clerk’s Office Monday-Thursday from 8-3 or on the town news section of our website www.townofotisma.com.  The warrant will also be available at the town meeting.  Just a reminder we will be using clickers to vote at the town meeting.  If you have any questions about the clickers please reach out and I can answer them. Parking for town meeting will be at the Farmington River School and at the Otis Highway Garage. Those who are carpooling can meet and leave vehicles at the Otis Town Hall but there will not be a bus shuttle service from this location.  Mr. Chris and Mrs. Heidi will be our wonderful bus shuttle drivers and they will be shuttling voters from the highway garage to the school. The shuttles will stop running promptly at 7PM.  Please plan to be early for this meeting. Voters can start arriving and checking in at the school beginning at 6PM.  When the meeting is over and for your safety, we would prefer you not walk on Route 8 back to the highway garage.  The bus shuttles will be running again or you can carpool down.

Absentee or Vote by Mail ballots will available for this election.  The deadline to apply for a mailed Absentee or Vote by Mail ballot is 5:00 pm on Monday May 18, and the deadline  to apply for absentee ballot voting in-person is 5:00 pm on May 22. The Town Clerk will be open from 3-5 on Friday May 22.
